what about Rosamund in An Education?!

Rosamund Pike’s Helen in An Education was beautiful and well-dressed. And painfully dim. I couldn’t tell if Helen was just naturally meh or if she went out of her way to play dumb. Also, she allowed uber-creep David to snake his way into Jenny’s life. She knew it wasn’t her place to question David and Danny’s schemes or do much heavy mental lifting— her job was smile and look pretty. Which is fine if all you want is arm candy. Helen doesn’t make the FutureWife Crush list. And no F/W would let snakes creep around Clever Jenny.
MEANWHILE
Pike’s Miriam in Barney’s Version is charming and warm and genuine and well-read and great with children and caring and she has her own interests and thinks for herself and has a personality and is so GF-material and and and
