Thanks for the link, Meagan! The store’s product description made me chuckle:

Personally, I’d like to see the pattern without the black. The black stands out so much against the rest of the palette— I think it’s too distracting, too overpowering. There’s nothing wrong with having colors pop, but I think the colors chosen should complement each other and work well together. If there is color-conflict, it should be there for a reason. Make conscious, purposeful decisions. I don’t necessarily love the shape or placement of the black flourishes, either.

That said, I wouldn’t complain if someone dropped this off as a housewarming gift for FutureHouse.

I might go with different colors (grays? blues?), but the absolute value of the pieces is still high. Yes, fellow math-in-real-life-lovers, that’s:

If anyone has more information on this chair, let me know. It can be any information, like the name of the style of chair (I know some of you study furniture), or where I could find it if I felt like window shopping.
